Proposal-based contract manufacturing
We work with customers who support the cutting edge of global manufacturing to develop and produce materials that their facilities require. As a manufacturing partner that produces the optimal products for our customers, we offer proposal-based contract manufacturing services based on a thorough understanding of customer needs and objectives, as well as the techniques and expertise we have developed over the years.
Integrated in-house manufacturing system
We have established a manufacturing system that enables us to handle everything in-house, from the stage of consulting on specifications and development to prototype manufacturing, recipe design, manufacturing, quality control, storage, and shipping. Our manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance departments work together to ensure a quick response, enabling us to fulfill even highly specific orders with small lot sizes and short deadlines.
An ideal natural environment with excellent transport links
Tachibana’s plants are located in Jonan, Kumamoto, almost the very center of Kyushu. The area has such abundant water resources that water for daily use is almost entirely obtained from groundwater. It is also situated near an expressway interchange, with easy access to airports and ports, making it an ideal location for a logistics hub.
Message from the President
Tachibana, a manufacturing company in the Morishita Group, produces high-purity chemicals for electronics and life sciences in collaboration with functional chemical manufacturers, with a focus on high-purity chemicals used in front-end semiconductor manufacturing processes. Founded in 1976 as a logistics company, Tachibana relocated its main site to Kumamoto in 1998 after shifting its focus to manufacturing, and since that time, it has been engaged in manufacturing, analysis, and logistics operations.
With the transition to a global digital society gathering pace, securing the supply of semiconductors, which are essential for industry and national security, and developing cutting-edge capabilities are becoming increasingly important. With investment in semiconductor products, equipment, and raw materials now a major national project in Japan, Kumamoto, located at the center of Kyushu, the newly emerging “Silicon Island,” is facing a wide range of expectations and challenges, including consolidating the supply chain for semiconductors and related industries and developing human resources.
We will continue to contribute to the semiconductor and chemical industries, as well as the local community, based on a thorough understanding of global trends.
With over two and a half decades of business experience, we are constantly updating our facilities and methods for clean manufacturing and analysis in order to meet the stringent quality and supply requirements of our end customers in the semiconductor industry, both in Japan and overseas. Moreover, in addition to Kumamoto’s abundant, high-quality water resources, we have been blessed with the support of a community that understands and appreciates manufacturing.
With the completion of our third plant in 2022, we stand ready to increase production of cutting-edge products, enhance quality control, and expand logistics. At the same time, we have adopted a new logo that represents not only the color of Kumamoto’s water and sky, but also our flexible approach as a company.

About Our Logo
The pristine water, filtered and purified by the Kumamoto soil, serves as the source of Tachibana’s products. This natural bounty is further refined into high-purity products through advanced filtration technology. Tachibana’s business approach is to maintain wide-ranging points of contact that welcome requests from customers in earnest, and from there to create custom-made products exclusive to each customer. Employees of all ages, from veterans to newcomers, work together to create one-of-a-kind products. In addition to the above, the logo also represents our determination to deliver our products from Jonan in Kumamoto to the world beyond the seas.
