The Basic OEM Process
-
Inquiries
Please first inquire about the product you wish to outsource via the inquiry form, phone, or email. We accept consultations in a wide range of fields including electronic materials, cosmetics, healthcare, agriculture, and chemicals.
-
Nondisclosure Agreement
A confidentiality agreement is concluded between the customer and Tachibana regarding the disclosure of recipes and other information.
-
Planning
We can manufacture according to a specified recipe, or we can propose a recipe that meets your requirements. If a recipe requires new equipment, we will consult with you about the installation of such equipment.
-
Prototyping
We manufacture a prototype according to a recipe, including ingredient quantities, procedures, and processes. For small-lot products, we can also deliver in the prototype stage, so please feel free to discuss this with us.
-
Product Evaluation
Tachibana works with the customer to check the prototype when it is finished. If necessary, the recipe for full production can be fine-tuned.
-
Main Contract
After confirming the prototype, the main contract for contract manufacturing is signed (in the case of delivery at the prototype stage, before such delivery). After this contract is concluded, the product is manufactured according to the manufacturing schedule.
-
Order
After the main contract is signed, we will hand over to the manufacturing site based on the finalized recipe for the full production and move on to the manufacturing process.
-
Program
The manufacturing site is optimized in accordance with the customer’s recipe. The program is carried out in tanks specific to each customer.
-
Instruction
We give instructions to the site based on the manufacturing process and recipe. The process begins with quality control, including quantitative control for manufacturing.
-
Loading
The raw materials specified in the recipe are weighed and loaded into the customer-specific tanks.
-
Filtration
Compatible filters are combined as appropriate for the product, and filtration is performed in order of coarsest to finest. Tachibana’s technical capabilities are embodied in this filtration process. We provide high-quality filtration tailored to each product. Before and after the filtration process, rigorous checking is performed of the relevant numerical values.
-
Filling
Filling operations are performed in a filling room with strict measures in place to control airborne particles. By establishing an environment with enhanced localized cleanliness, we provide control that prevents contamination with impurities.
-
Completion
After filling, finished products are labeled with a dedicated label and placed one by one into bags. Double-layered packaging is also available upon request. We report the results of product inspections using statistical process control (SPC) and obtain a final decision from the customer.
-
Packaging
We will wrap and box the product in a manner that meets your needs. If you have any requests regarding the mode of delivery, please contact us.
-
Storage
After the main contract is signed, we will hand over to the manufacturing site based on the finalized recipe for the full production and move on to the manufacturing process.
-
